		<description>Magento 1.4.1.1
Ubuntu 10.0.4
PHP5
Hosted on my own web server.

Hi,
How can I display on the CMS Home page a brief text message that says &quot;Your Browser is xyz Version 1.234&quot; ?
I have tried installing Browser.php with the following code in the Content area of the CMS Home page...

getBrowser());
$ver = $browser-&gt;getVersion();
echo “$thebrowser $ver”;
?&gt;

However this did not work.

I then tried it on a simple web page at var/www/index.html with a .htaccess file that allowed embedded PHP and it worked fine.

I am not sure where to put the file Browser.php in Magento and how to call it in the CMS home page ?</description>
