Here is another mobile one for you:

It’s called WordPress Mobile Admin and it mobilizes the WP control panel. It retains the familiar look and feel of the WP dashboard and provides the functionality you need on the go.

Best of all, it works on every handset, so it doesn’t matter if you don’t have an iPhone or Blackberry!

pretty cool, but quite a few of them are (very) outdated. Are there still folks (who would be a target group for an admin them) on 2.3???

There sure are! Back in the early days of WordPress, there were many people who heavily modified their installations of WordPress and now there sites have grown very large, it’s very difficult to upgrade to the latest Versions of WordPress without spending 100′s of hours!

      Thanks for the comment!

Hi — good list, mostly the plugins you mention which are not cited elsewhere.

Ok on a previous list of yours was exactly what I need: WordPress admin themer
The link to it for download and others I Googled are dead. Is this no longer used? The feature it has involves a second wp-admin.css file. I need this because as one person said: you simply need to install it like any other WordPress plugin, then create a wp-admin.css file in the folder of the particular theme that you are currently using on your blog.:

Perfect. Except that I can’t find it. I don’t know enough coding to call it in my custom post template. I might be stuck setting up a child theme just for this one custom post file.

    Thanks — Mike
